Like flower rims, eyelids, and such. I knew a really cool website that had everything!!!! but forgot the name. Nothing much is showing up on the Yahoo search.

Q: Can anyone point me in the right direction for catalogues of VW Beetle spares/accessories and parts please?
The car is a 1972 Superbug and in quite bad repair.

A: jc whitney does have a lot of parts, especially for VW. They sell a lot of junk, but they are great with returns. I order stuff from cip1 in Canada. They have probably the best prices and practically anything you will need, towbars, window rubber, mufflers, etc. If you need to rebuild your engine you may want to check out their rebuild kits. http://www.cip1.com http://www.jbugs.com is in California. They have great deals on TMI interior kits, such as doorpanels, carpet, seat covers, etc., plus many other things such as engine and exhaust. CBPerformance has a lot of high-quality products for VW. Such as the dual carburetor hexbar linkage, and electronic fuel injection. They sell a lot of custom stuff you cannot get anywhere else. http://www.cbperformance.com/ Gene Berg also sells a lot of exclusive custom stuff http://www.geneberg.com/ I just ordered something from http://www.aircooled.net the other day. It came in the mail 2 days later. They don't have the greatest site, not a lot of pictures of what you are ordering, but they are fast and reasonable. Here are three well known but generally very expensive companies. 1. http://www.bfyobsoleteparts.com/ 2. http://www.westcoastmetric.com/ 3. http://www.mamotorworks.com/ West coast metric puts out a catalog, and they write "Call us" as the price for all of their items. Parts place inc. has a lot of water cooled stuff in addition to aircooled: http://www.partsplaceinc.com/. I would also recommend Bus Depot. Mostly this is for buses, but since a lot of VW parts are interchangeable between models, you can get some stuff from them at a decent price. http://www.busdepot.com/ The same goes for KGPR, this is for ghias but you can get bug stuff there. http://www.karmannghia.com Go to wal-mart or a book store and pick up Hot VWs magazine. There are lots of ads for companies in there, plus parts for sale. Another site is http://www.thesamba.com. They have classifieds, forum, events calender, and pictures.
