Q: 1993 VW Fox location of ignition module?
it is not in the distributor and I am a master tech 32years exp.

A: Usualy the ignition modules are found in the distributor, but as I am not familiar with that model it is a good place to start looking.

Hi Does anyone know: Does the car have a timing belt or chain and how often should it be changed (if its a belt) Where can I get body panels and bits for this car at decent prices. Thanks in Advance

A: If it's a belt they are usually OK for 50-60 thousand miles, but if you don't know when it was last changed it wouldn't be a bad idea to change it anyway, for piece of mind. for body panels try a company called Euro panel, they are quite good or German, Swedish and French is another to try for panels and parts also most motor factors ( such as part-co ) should be able to help, but they are not always cheaper than the dealer. I used to work for a dealership, they give trade customers 15% discounts or more so try asking for a discount, you might be surprised.
