A: Yup. Just like how parts from my 1994 Jetta will fit on my 1998 Jetta.
Most things within the same year are interchangeable, even between different models.

A: Depends on what parts and how much performance you want. Also, it depends on your motor. If you have a simple 2.0 liter motor then I'd say save your money. The engines I'd modifiy would be the turbo ones or the VR6's. The others really are a waste and don't have as much aftermarket support.

This part is different than the one VW sells in the US. Instead of wiring the iPod into your glove compartment, you replace your CD changer with a module that has an iPod dock.

im looking to buy a 1995 vw jetta and it had 130 thousand miles on it but i want to know how long it will last before i have to start buying new parts for it because it is breaking down and having other problems
A: no one can tell you when a car is going to break down.. because they are all driven by someone else so it depends on how well it was cared for really if you think its in good shape then it might be ok for a few yrs but i cant tell ya its not going to break on the way home today either... many cars if kelpt well run into the 400,000 range but you just never know
Q: Estimated cost for parts/labor to repair bushings on a 1996 VW Jetta?
The shop is telling my mom it's a "major" repair, but they have not quoted her an estimate yet because they say they're shopping for the best deal on the parts. Any experts on this topic........your feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I own a 2001 volkswagen getta glx. today, I lost the front bumper grill (driver side) on the road. it had come loose over the past few weeks and guess it popped out somewhere on the highway. Q: Where can I get a volume knob for the radio in my 96 VW Jetta Trek...?
Can anyone tell me who (what company accessible online) would carry a volume knob for the stock radio for a 1996 Volkswagon Jetta Trek? I've seen them online some time ago but now, when I need one, I can't find one... What VW parts OEMer sells them? I'm not looking for "junk yard" as an answer as it isn't.
If you have objections to my question and needs then go away. VW is too far away and I'm not giving them my business out of pure ethics. I'm not finding these in junk yards (they want to sell the whole radio, so get a clue) so stop telling me to go there. There are honest people on this site who know of VW parts retailers (non-dealer) who carry these. Again, if you want to make a negative comment, keep it to yourself or get flagged at abusive. This is an honest question.

94 vw jetta III GLX VR6 both rear caliper brackets . ( the hanger and bolts )
what happen is the floting pins froze up and broke off when i tried to free them up now there stuck in the hangers so i drilled the back side and put penitrating oil and beat them out the back way so now i need the pins but if i have to buy the hanger to so be it ( cheep is what im looking for and fast )

I have 1999 Vw Jetta and the timing belt look Ok but becoz of the miles in the car i am replacing it the mechanic ask me $500 icluding parts and labor is it reasonable?
A: yes that's pretty good price especially on that car,if that was parts and labor ,that's not bad at all,other shops would probably ask you around 550 -600 to do the same job,that's a good deal on that one,good luck.
